Catching up with Coach Brock
getting ready for the TBolts 2025 summer season
Writing this post Super Bowl, with reports of the MLB spring training ramping up this week, happy to see stories of pitchers and catchers arriving at MLB preseason camps. Also happy to have caught up with coach Brock to chat about preparations for the upcoming Thunderbolts 2025 summer season. This summer will be Brock’s fifth year as Head Coach and Pitching Coach of the TBolts. Brock is also the Varsity Head Coach at Churchill HS and a pitching instructor at HammerZone Sports. Brock has been busy recruiting for the TBolts 2025 roster. Brock has also attended the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Annual Convention early in January and is currently getting ready for the spring Churchill High School season.
Brock is happy to have (as it is still early in the roster building and recruiting process) 10 returning TBolts signed up, including 2024 First Team All League pitcher: Jay Wandell, 2024 All-Star pitcher Ryan Cuadros, pitcher and infielder Beck Urofsky infielder Bryce Curry, outfielder Gabe Ruiz, pitcher John Carver, infielder Josh Erd, outfielder and pitcher Matthew Walters, outfielder Steve Thomas, and catcher / pitcher Vance Bonior.
