The 2026 CRSCBL playoffs begin tomorrow. The T-Bolts go in as the #8 seed, set to face whoever lands in the #5 spot. That gets decided tonight: the Metro SoCo Braves are at the DC Grays, and the Southern Maryland Senators are at the Alexandria Aces. Seeds four through six come out of those two games. Before any of that gets sorted, there’s a story from 2008 worth knowing.
A season no one wanted to remember
What remains: a #6 seed, a season fractured by a player revolt, and one swing in the ninth inning that erased all of it.
