Tonight's game canceled – upcoming schedule June 23 & 24
Tonight’s game is off.
The makeup game against the Metro SoCo Braves – originally rained out on June 12 – has been canceled due to the stormy forecast tonight. There will be no game at Blair Baseball Stadium this evening. Stay dry.
Looking ahead: two big days coming up.
Tomorrow – Tuesday, June 23: TBolts on the Road
The TBolts (4-12) head out for an away game against the Gaithersburg Giants (8-9), first pitch 7 p.m. at Criswell Automotive Field. The Giants have dropped three in a row and will be hungry for a win at home. The North Division standings are tight enough that every game from here counts. Can’t make it to Gaithersburg? Wednesday, June 24: Double Dip at Home – 4:30 PM First Pitch
The TBolts return to Blair Baseball Stadium on Wednesday to host the Bethesda Big Train (9-7) for a doubleheader – and the first game has some history attached to it.
The TBolts and Big Train will complete the game started on June 11, which was suspended after 3½ innings. Because it began as a nine-inning game, the completion will play out to nine innings. First pitch is 4:30 PM.
The second game – the regularly scheduled contest – will be seven innings.
Bethesda sits in second place in the North Division, 2.0 games behind the Olney Cropdusters. The TBolts are 7.0 games back and looking to gain ground.
